Refits and New Construction

The Shrinkforce crew have been wrapping Super yacht projects both at home in New Zealand, and abroad.

There are many advantages of using Shrink Wrap for your refit or new construction project.

The Shrink wrap will form a cocoon around virtually any shaped yacht to keep it clean and dry and protected from both the sun and rain. Furthermore, any new paintwork or hardware installation is protected from air pollutants and dirt. Teak decks are covered, and refurbishment work is not exposed to the elements.

Storage

If you are wishing to store your boat for the winter, or are simply not using it for a while, we can shrink wrap your boat providing the ultimate weatherproof cover. Access doors can be installed if you need to get in to your boat whilst it is being stored.

Wrapping your boat or yacht whilst in storage will mean it is clean and ready for the next time you want to use it, as well as minimising depreciation by maintaining its current state of appearance.

The shrink wrap acts as a sun and weather barrier, preserving the paintwork and preventing hardware oxidisation.

Transportation

It is common for yachts to get both dirty and damaged during transportation. We can ensure that your yacht is protected whilst in transit, whether that be from one side of Auckland to the other, or across the world.

The durability of Shrink Wrap protects the gelcoat/paint work from rain, sun hail or saltwater damage. The moulded cover prevents weather from dirtying the yacht, whilst also keeping the yacht dry for its arrival.
